Booking & Payment

1. A deposit equivalent to one month (4 x half-hour or 1-hour sessions) secures your regular lesson slot and reserves it for the full half-term.
2. The remaining balance for the half-term is due in full at the start of term.
3. Half-terms run for 5–8 weeks, depending on the school calendar.
4. Pay-as-you-go lessons are billed at the higher rate shown above and are booked individually, subject to availability.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

1. One month's written notice (email or text) is required to cancel a regular lesson slot.
2. Lessons may only be rescheduled within the same half-term, and only where I have the availability to do so — rescheduling is offered at my discretion, not guaranteed.
3. Missed or late-arrival lessons are not refunded or made up. Your booked time is reserved for you regardless of attendance.
4. If I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson (illness, emergency, etc.), I will give as much notice as possible and offer a replacement session or credit.

Commitment & Practice

1. Regular attendance and commitment to your agreed lesson time are expected for progress to be made.
2. A minimum practice schedule of 4 x 30-minute sessions per week is recommended between lessons.
3. Lessons provide instruction and structure, but progress depends on your own practice — I cannot guarantee proficiency or outcomes, only guidance.
4. Free supplementary material is available via my Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Students Under 18

1. A parent or guardian must complete a booking and agree to these terms on behalf of any student under 18.
2. A parent or guardian should be contactable during lesson times.
3. Please inform me of any medical conditions, injuries, or access needs that may be relevant to the lesson.

Liability

1. Lessons are conducted at 140 Vaughan Road, Harrow, HA1 4EB (or online via Skype/webcam where agreed).
2. Students take part in lessons at their own risk. I hold no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising outside of reasonable instructor conduct.
3. Please advise me in advance of any health conditions relevant to physical activity or extended sitting/drumming.

Photos, Video & Marketing

Occasional photos or video may be taken during lessons or studio sessions for teaching purposes or promotional use (social media, website). Please let me know in advance if you'd prefer not to be included, and I will respect this.

Data & Privacy

Your contact and booking details are held only for the purpose of managing your lessons and will not be shared with third parties, other than as required for payment processing.
