Kasem Chouja
Kasem has been teaching drums since 1997 — nearly 30 years of experience across hundreds of students, from complete beginners to diploma-level players.
He's a professional working musician, currently playing with King With No Throne, and the owner of Oneforty — so lessons happen in a real working studio and creative space, not a spare room.
Kasem also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Monash University — so alongside decades behind the kit, he brings genuine, qualified teaching skill to every lesson.
He's also a professional drum kit tuner and servicer, with around 26 years' experience getting kits sounding and playing their best — a skill he brings into lessons too, so students learn on properly set-up instruments from day one.

Lessons happen at Oneforty, a professional recording and rehearsal studio in Harrow that also runs as a live music venue — with its own café. We offer full recording, rehearsal space, and multi-camera livestream production, and we regularly host other tutors' recitals and live gigs on site.
